It's like some kind of joke, 'cause I'm so broke and without fail
the sales on what they send are really gettin' kind of rude,
'Cause if times get any harder, I'll be eating pictures of food.

These buy one get one offers, when I can't afford the first
I'd kill for an ice cream sundae, or something to quench my thirst.
I can practically taste the burgers. I can even smell the fries.
But I can't trust my senses, 'cause these pictures all are lies.

Pictures of food-come in my mailbox
Pictures of food-on my cell phone screen
and up there on the billboards,
while I'm down here gettin' lean.

This music life ain't payin' out and it hurts my attitude,
'cause if times get any harder, I'll be eating pictures of food.
